Background

Ebenezers Coffeehouse, founded by Pastor Mark Batterson, is a renowned café in Washington, DC. This beloved spot is highlighted in his book Circle Maker and has become a community hub, combining coffee culture with a strong spiritual foundation.

The opportunity

The opportunity arose in 2019 when I began freelancing for Ebenezers Coffeehouse. I redesigned their website to reflect their new branding, focusing on enhancing online sales and event booking systems, while also supporting their digital marketing and social media content initiatives.

The solution

I built a WooCommerce website using WordPress, incorporating subscription functionality to facilitate recurring sales. Additionally, I developed a catering landing page that showcased various options and streamlined the booking process. On-site, we captured engaging social media content to enhance their online presence.

Website Development

The new Ebenezers Coffeehouse website, redesigned to align with their updated logo and brand colors.

We highlighted the Give-A-Cup initiative, making it easy for people to donate to the cause.

I crafted a narrative highlighting their miraculous story to educate visitors about their journey. The website features links to partner sites, such as the National Community Church, and includes a link to The Circle Maker book, serving both as references and valuable backlinks for SEO.

A key focus of the website was to ensure seamless navigation to the "Become a Wholesale Client"

and "Bring Ebz to Your Next Event" or catering sections.
