ApiaryAfrica, a forward-thinking construction company, has emerged as a pioneer in eco-friendly and alternative building methods. With a strong focus on sustainability, ApiaryAfrica specialises in developing off-grid properties that minimise environmental impact while maximising efficiency and comfort.
Facing this exciting prospect, ApiaryAfrica sought our expertise to create a compelling logo and comprehensive brand design that would reflect their commitment to sustainability and innovation. They entrusted us with creative freedom, with the only requirement being that the new brand should clearly communicate their eco-friendly ethos while standing out in the construction industry. Our goal was to develop a cohesive identity that would resonate with their target audience and enhance their presence in the off-grid property development market.
We developed the name ApiaryAfrica to draw an analogy with a beehive, symbolising collaboration and innovation, aligning with biomimicry principles to create eco-friendly off-grid properties in Africa. The brand identity was crafted around this concept, focusing on sustainability and nature. We chose a vibrant green paired with a darker green to evoke a sense of growth and environmental consciousness. The 'A' in Apiary was creatively utilised to design a bee pattern, reinforcing the connection to the brand name and symbolising the hardworking, community-oriented nature of bees, which mirrors ApiaryAfrica's approach to sustainable construction.
